I was in the military for 27 years, active duty, where I worked in family practice, ER, burn unit, ICU, CCU, pediatrics, ortho/neuro/vascular, med/surg floor. I received my bachelors from UCCS in Colorado, trained in advanced trauma and ER courses in the military, went to USUHS medical school in DC where I received my Advanced Nurse Practitioners degree.
